I have gained some volunteering experience throughout both my high school and middle school careers. In 2017, my friend and I created a plan for a community service project. We decided to raise money for Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. We raised money by organizing a pajama day at the elementary and middle schools in which students paid $1 to wear their pajamas to school. In total, we collected about $500, which we hand-delivered to the hospital. Also, I started volunteering at Sierra's Haven in summer 2019 and I continue to volunteer there on occasion. I would like to become involved with more volunteer work.
